Advance Practice Nurse - PRN, Oncall

Role: Provides professional nursing care through independent and delegated medical functions, utilizing specialized knowledge across various clinical specialties including Emergency Room, Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Psychiatric Mental Health, Urogynecology, Oncology, and Rheumatology. Responsibilities: Collects patient data, formulates diagnoses, develops and implements treatment plans, and performs procedures within scope. Educates patients and families on health management, documents all care activities, and manages telehealth encounters. Ensures safety, efficiency, and cultural sensitivity while collaborating with the healthcare team. Maintains professional competence, participates in quality assurance, and adheres to legal and organizational policies. Qualifications & Skills: Requires 1-2 years of diabetes management experience (endocrinology preferred), a Master’s Degree in Nursing, and valid state licenses/certifications including APN Prescriptive Authority, RN license, and necessary registrations. Certifications such as BLS, DEA, and CDE are required, with additional competencies in ACLS and procedural sedation preferred. Demonstrates strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care.
