About the role
We are seeking a professional nurse proficient in independent and delegated medical functions, adhering to accepted standards. The role involves patient advocacy, performing clinical assessments, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans across specialties such as Emergency Room, Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Psychiatry, Urogynecology, Oncology, and Rheumatology.
Responsibilities
- Data collection and accurate diagnosis
- Safe and efficient implementation of treatment plans
- Patient education and advocacy
- Documentation of care and procedures
- Performing procedures within scope and regulations
- Collaborative team leadership and cultural sensitivity
- Maintaining clinical competence
- Compliance with legal and organizational policies
Requirements
- 1-2 years of diabetes management experience
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Valid nursing licensure
- Prescriptive authority certification
- CPR/BLS certification
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and clinical judgment skills
- Strong teamwork and patient-centered care focus
- Preferred: CDE/CDECS certification
- Preferred: ACLS certification for procedural sedation
