About the role
This role involves practicing professional nursing by performing independent and delegated medical functions in various specialties such as Emergency Room, Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Psychiatry, Urogynecology, Oncology, and Rheumatology.
Responsibilities
- Collecting patient data
- Formulating diagnoses
- Developing and implementing treatment plans
- Performing procedures within scope
- Providing patient education and counseling
- Ensuring comprehensive documentation
- Collaborating with healthcare team members
- Maintaining safety and confidentiality standards
Requirements
- A Master's Degree in Nursing
- Valid licensure
- Certification in prescriptive authority
- Experience in diabetes management (preferred)
- Additional certifications like CDE/CDCES (preferred)
Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of nursing practices
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
