Role: Provides professional nursing care across various specialties, including Emergency Room, Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Psychiatric Mental Health, Urogynecology, Oncology, and Rheumatology. Responsibilities Collects medical history, conducts physical examinations, reviews lab and radiologic studies.Formulates accurate diagnoses, develops and implements treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.Performs procedures within expertise, ensuring safety and adherence to regulations.Educates patients and families on treatment, disease prevention, and health promotion with culturally sensitive approaches.Documents all clinical activities accurately in medical records.Conducts telehealth encounters, manages tasks, and responds to emergency situations.Collaborates with healthcare team, promotes a safe environment, and maintains confidentiality.Maintains clinical competence through ongoing education, certification, and licensure.Participates in quality assurance, mentoring, and performance evaluations. Qualifications 1-2 years of diabetes management experience; endocrinology experience preferred.Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.Valid Colorado APN Prescriptive Authority and RN Licenses, with required certifications including BLS, DEA registration, and additional certifications like CDE/CDECS (within 24 months).Preferred: ACLS and procedural sedation competency if applicable. Skills: Strong clinical judgment, patient advocacy, teamwork, cultural sensitivity, and compliance with legal and organizational standards.
