Admissions Director

About the Role

Serve as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries and admissions. Coordinate with healthcare providers, referral sources, and insurance companies to facilitate the admissions process. Conduct patient assessments to determine eligibility and develop personalized care plans. Collaborate with the care team to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient admissions, assessments, and treatment plans. Process admission paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective admissions strategies to meet or exceed departmental targets
• Manage admissions budgets and monitor expenses to ensure financial stability
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility
• Insurance experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations
