About the role

Windsor Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center, located in Windsor, NC, is a Long Term Care facility providing quality care to residents.

Responsibilities

  • Captures and coordinates tours of the facility with prospective Residents, families, and referrers.
  • Aids in the admission process by ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and relevant financial and medical records are gathered.
  • Prepares rooms for new Residents upon their arrival and meets with them and their families on the day of admission to address any questions and ensure a smooth transition.
  • Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to manage admissions, discharges, and Resident room transfers.
  • Maintains a referral base and develops and implements long-term and short-term marketing strategies.
  • Coordinates and participates in presentations about the facility for healthcare professionals and other potential referral sources.
  • Reports any hazardous conditions, damaged equipment, or supply issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintains a comfortable, private, and dignified environment for Residents, adhering to established infection control and standard precaution protocols.
  • Fulfills safety precautions during tasks and uses of equipment and supplies.
  • Communicates effectively and tactfully with Residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Responds promptly and courteously to call lights in Resident care areas.
  • Reports any Resident concerns to the appropriate department head.
  • Attends and participates in departmental meetings and in-services as directed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year experience in a marketing role or similar experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred.
  • Two years of related experience preferred.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of infection control and standard precaution protocols.
  • Effective problem-solving and organizational skills.
