Admissions Director

Facility: Victoria Crossing Rehabilitation Location: Brandon Position: Admissions Director Shift: Full-Time Salary: $85,000 – $110,000 annually (based on experience) Victoria Crossing Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and motivated Admissions Director to oversee and lead our admissions operations. This leadership role is essential in driving census growth, managing referral relationships, and ensuring a seamless admissions experience for patients and families. Key Responsibilities Oversee the admissions process from referral through admissionServe as the primary liaison between hospitals, physicians, case managers, families, and interdisciplinary teamsReview clinical documentation for admission appropriateness and authorization requirementsCoordinate with nursing, therapy, social services, and finance departments to ensure smooth transitionsManage bed availability, census development, and admissions trackingBuild and maintain strong referral source relationships to support occupancy growthEducate referral partners on facility services, specialty programs, and outcomesSupport patients and families throughout the admission and transition processCollaborate with leadership to achieve occupancy and revenue goals Qualifications & Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in admissions, intake, case management, or healthcare business developmentPrior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute care setting strongly preferredPrevious Admissions Director or Admissions Coordinator experience requiredStrong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and authorization processesFamiliarity with healthcare regulations related to admissions and transfersExperience working with interdisciplinary clinical teamsProficiency with EMR and referral management systems including PointClickCare, CarePort, NaviHealth, and AllScripts Benefits Comprehensive Medical & Dental CoverageGenerous Paid Time Off (PTO)401(k) Retirement PlanEmployee Recognition ProgramSupportive and team-oriented environmentCompany perks and employee discounts Ready to take the next step in your healthcare leadership career?
