About the role
The Administrative Support - Level I serves as the first point of contact for all incoming phone calls (e.g., coffee orders), dispatch operator (service calls, national calls), and driver check-ins while providing superior customer service and performing administrative support tasks. Additionally, this role is responsible for securing the money room at all times.
Responsibilities
- Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information, taking messages, or scheduling appointments.
- Verify all route deposits (On-Premise and Retail).
- Secure money room at all times and complete and validate nightly deposits.
- Communicate any errors on deposits to the manager.
- Issue and track all change funds according to procedures set forth in the security policies and procedures manual.
- Perform administrative support tasks, such as proofreading, transcribing handwritten information, or operating calculators or computers to order office supplies.
- Greet visitors entering the establishment, determine the nature and purpose of their visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
- Ensure all visitors sign in and out according to policies and procedures.
- Transmit information or documents to customers using computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
- Collect, sort, distribute, or prepare mail, messages, or courier deliveries.
- Handle On-Premise administrative duties, including house invoices and item ordering.
- Distribute service and product calls to ensure timely response.
- Process Inbound and Outbound Blue Bag process.
- Handle retail house sales tickets, retail manual sales tickets, and process and track donation tickets.
- Balance and maintain cash box.
- Exhibit a high level of ethical and moral conduct while representing Buffalo Rock Company.
- Complete assigned training curriculum, including online and/or facilitated training.
- Take reasonable precautions to protect the Company from damages, theft, or other liabilities and ensure the safety of employees, customers, and property.

Requirements
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
- Proficient in Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- SharePoint experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
- Ability to perform basic mathematics.
