Summary Of Responsibilities
- Interprets departmental policies to the public and interprets Kentucky Revised Statutes in response to questions from the public regarding junk yards.
- Plans, organizes, and reviews information which is presented to the public.
- Affords assistance to junk yards with renewals and applications to be licensed.
- Works part of a team, being adaptable and able to pivot strategies based upon feedback and analytics.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience In Understanding of basic computer literacy.
- Experience dealing with the public via all communication sources.
- Experience in writing, editing, or digital marketing is highly valued.

Minimum Requirements
- Education: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
- Experience, Training, or Skills: Three years of professional, administrative, or business experience.
- Substitute Education for Experience: Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
- Substitute Experience for Education: Additional administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Probationary Period
