The Job Opportunity and Duties Works under general supervision and requires considerable knowledge of agency policies and procedures regarding program activities of Education in order to relieves supervisors of routine administrative dutiesMakes recommendations regarding education policies and proceduresResearches and analyzes information and provides technical advice and information concerning DOTS and OnBaseReviews policies and standards to assist with audit and accreditation required documents for Ohio Central School System (OCSS) and field administrationProvides guidance and or train others on DOTS, OnBase, and/or Special education softwareCommunicates decisions and directives, including education terminology, policies and/or Law requirementsResponds to requests, scans and emails documents to institutionsPrepares documents for purging and scanning into electronic storageManages educations business functions for EducationPurchases supplies and equipment for office staff and field staff and provides support with preparing purchasing requisitions and gets quotesActs as liaison between Operation Support Center (OSC) and BOSC staff concerning complete reports and issuesAnswers inquiries about inmate school recordsCommunicates with parents and other agency partners as neededGathers data and/or statistics required for monthly reports for the school district including special education and career tech reportingMaintains various student apprenticeship records, adult diplomas, and certificates of completionTravels to other institutions and agencies for projects and or meetingsAttends meetings, trainings and conferencesMay give presentations and conduct trainingWork on special projects and/or committees as assignedPerforms other duties as assigned Completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from accredited career school or community college.
