About the role

The Administrative Officer II, Resources Agency oversees all administrative matters in the Delta District and manages various services including payroll, safety, training, employee/employer relations, service and supply, duplication, property management, contracts, telephone and reception, vehicle fleet, building management, files, and mail services.

Responsibilities

  • Estimates projected expenses and reviews/oversees the day-to-day maintenance of the District’s budget.
  • Reviews and approves invoices and payments for the District.
  • Oversees the coordination of all administrative functions within the District.
  • Manages the District’s records and files system.
  • Coordinates with external vendors and contractors for contract management.
  • Oversees the District’s communication systems, including phone and email.
  • Manages the District’s property and equipment inventory and maintenance.
  • Oversees the District’s vehicle fleet and related operations.
  • Oversees the District’s building management and maintenance.
  • Oversees the District’s mail services and distribution.
  • Oversees the District’s duplication and printing services.
  • Oversees the District’s employee/employer relations and training programs.
  • Oversees the District’s safety protocols and emergency response procedures.

Requirements

  • Valid California Driver’s License required for driving State vehicles for business purposes.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a relevant degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible administrative experience.
  • Experience in managing budgets and financial records.
  • Experience in managing personnel and employee relations.
  • Experience in managing and maintaining records and files systems.
  • Experience in managing and coordinating administrative functions.
  • Experience in managing and overseeing communication systems.
  • Experience in managing and overseeing property and equipment inventory and maintenance.
  • Experience in managing and overseeing vehicle fleets and related operations.
  • Experience in managing and overseeing building management and maintenance.
  • Experience in managing and overseeing mail services and distribution.
  • Experience in managing and overseeing duplication and printing services.
  • Experience in managing and overseeing safety protocols and emergency response procedures.

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

$6,523.00 - $8,106.00 per Month
