Administrative Officer II
This position reports to the Administrative Supervisor and acts as a shared resource, providing analytical and administrative support to operational and medical teams. Responsibilities include detailed technical work related to data entry, collection, and analysis; development of reports for operational management and regulatory compliance; consolidation and summarization of information; and recommendations for process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry, collection, and analysis.

- Provide administrative support to multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and in compliance with HIPAA requirements.
- Manage multiple projects and tasks while meeting dead deadlines and competing priorities.
- Interact professionally and courteously with team members and the public.
Requirements
- BA/BS with a major in a related field and 2 years of experience in administrative analysis, operations research, high-level administrative role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, outreach setup, and client services operation.
- Highly proficient with standard Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel), including calendar management.
- Ability to run analytical reports and summarize data.
- Solid working knowledge of Adobe Pro, Visio, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under pressure.
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Proven record of reliability, attendance, and professional judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent experience in a clinical laboratory, preferably in Client Services/Call Center.
- Previous experience utilizing EMR and LIS systems.
- Experience training personnel in the use of computers or database systems.
- Previous experience in a healthcare, clinical, or research environment.

Pay
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Placement within the salary range depends on work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement is guided by collective bargaining agreement rules.
