About the role

This is a full-time, remote role designed to support clinical operations within our healthcare teams. The successful candidate will work from anywhere within the United States, enjoying the flexibility of telecommuting while contributing to vital health services. The position requires adaptability to work various shifts within our operational hours from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm local time, with occasional overtime as needed. Training will be conducted during standard business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Review, research, and assist clinical staff with setting up documents and triage cases for clinical coverage review
  • Handle member claims efficiently, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols
  • Maintain productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards consistently
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues and improve workflows
  • Prioritize tasks and multi-task effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support clinical operations

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting or industry
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Experience with medical claims processing or research
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work full-time with flexible shifts during normal business hours

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clerical or administrative support background
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding systems
  • Experience with CPS claims platform and authorizations
