Maintain Payroll and Budget
Prepare and follow through on all departmental requisitions, purchase orders, and payment authorizations.
Assist with Trainings and Projects
- Aid in developing agendas, procedures, and practices for departmental trainings and projects.
- Ensure timely notification of department staff regarding policies, procedures, and practices.
Organize and Manage Routine Work Activities
- Plan for appointments, conferences, interviews, and travel.
- Create and prepare correspondence, forms, spreadsheets, reports, documents, and maintain databases using Windows-based business software applications.
Customer Service and General Information
- Provide regular feedback to supervisor regarding project status or issues.
- Monitor and maintain personnel time records including daily attendance, leave requests, and reports.
- Compile information and submit to requesting departments.
- Process routine correspondence including documents for approval, department meeting agendas, and information packets.
- Provide general information to employees, parents, and the public as it relates to the department.
Office Management
- Obtain and maintain adequate office supplies at all times.
Qualifications
- Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent (U.S.A. Equivalency).
- Associate's Degree preferred.
- Required 5+ years of direct experience.
- Demonstrated ability to function independently.
- Demonstrated ability to defuse problems and hostile attitudes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
- Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office.
