About the role

The Administrative Assistant works in a busy office environment and must efficiently multitask between various assignments. This position plays a key role in the onboarding of new employees and maintaining employee files.

Essential Functions

  • Onboarding of new employees and maintaining employee files
  • Ensure all assigned tasks are completed accurately and delivered with high quality in a timely manner
  • Data entry
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and retention
  • Onboarding of new employees and maintaining employee files
  • Serve clients, vendors, and other walk-in customers by welcoming and directing them appropriately
  • Administrative support for field and office personnel
  • Operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, scanners, phone systems, and computers
  • Answer phones, provide basic information and transfer callers as appropriate
  • Efficiently and professionally manage the flow of people and information through the business
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of general administrative experience required
  • High school diploma or GED is required

Understanding and Compliance

Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standards, if applicable

  • Compensation & Benefits: Salary commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
