We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join a team in Cherryville, North Carolina in a part-time contract-to-permanent, onsite role. This position serves as a key point of coordination for office and production-related documentation, helping teams stay aligned and information move efficiently throughout the facility. The role is well suited for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable supporting multiple departments in a hands-on environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming purchase orders and related sales documents, ensuring records are complete and routed correctly.
- Prepare, sort, and distribute production paperwork so office and operations teams have the materials they need on time.
- Act as a central liaison between customer service, production leadership, and administrative staff to keep document flow organized.
- Research day-to-day operational questions and relay accurate updates to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain office and facility supply inventory and place orders with approved vendors as needed.
- Support daily administrative operations through filing, data entry, document printing, and general office coordination.
- Keep physical and electronic records organized, accurate, and easy to retrieve.
- Assist with scheduling needs, inbound calls, and additional projects that support the broader team.
Requirements
- Previous experience in administrative support, office coordination, customer service, or a similar business support role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to manage documents and data accurately.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, adjust to shifting priorities, and stay organized in a busy setting.
- Comfortable learning new tools, systems, and internal procedures.
- Able to work independently, show initiative, and follow through on assigned tasks.
- Bilingual Spanish and English skills are welcomed but not required.
