About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations in Ohio. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys creating an organized, welcoming environment while handling a mix of front-desk interaction, data management, and general administrative support. The right candidate will communicate effectively, stay organized in a fast-paced setting, and help keep business activities running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Manage front-desk activities by greeting visitors, directing inquiries, and ensuring a welcoming office experience.
- Respond to incoming phone calls, route messages appropriately, and provide timely assistance to internal and external contacts.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain records, documents, and administrative files in an organized manner.
- Provide day-to-day office support such as scheduling, preparing materials, and assisting with routine administrative tasks.
- Coordinate communications and follow up on requests to help departments stay aligned and informed.
- Maintain office organization by monitoring supplies, supporting shared administrative processes, and assisting with general clerical needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative, office support, receptionist, or similar role.
- Comfortable handling inbound calls effectively and communicating clearly with a variety of contacts.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Proficiency with standard office practices and general administrative procedures.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented office environment.
