Administrative Assistant
About the role
The Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery seeks an individual to provide administrative support to a department or group of professionals. The ideal candidate will exercise confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy, utilize business software applications, and manage various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to a department or group of professionals, exercising confidentiality, tact and diplomacy.
- Utilizes business software applications to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc.; compiles data for expense and statistical reports.
- Schedules and confirms appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements; tracks expenses.
- Participates in the development and implementation of administrative standards, policies and practices for the organization.
- Maintains an internal website and/or works with social media.

Salary commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This role requires a hybrid schedule (mix between remote and in-person work) after initial training period, subject to change in the future based on university policy and business needs.
