About the role

LACCD is accepting applications for part-time, adjunct Vocational Education Instructor positions in Nonprofit Management for the 2026 Academic School Year. This posting establishes a pool of qualified applicants for potential openings across LACCD’s nine colleges. Final assignments are contingent upon enrollment, funding, and class availability.

Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to teaching and mentoring a diverse student population. Faculty may be required to teach in virtual, hybrid, or hyflex modalities using Canvas or similar platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and two years of occupational experience related to Nonprofit Management; or
  • Associate degree and six years of occupational experience related to Nonprofit Management; or
  • Full-time, clear California Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential authorizing instruction in the subject matter.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students and staff.
  • COVID-19 vaccination required per LACCD Board of Trustees’ Policy 2900, with exemptions available.

Verification of occupational experience is required via a letter from a current or previous employer on company letterhead, including:

  • Dates of employment

  • Full- or part-time status (with weekly hours if part-time)

Pay

Adjunct noncredit instructors are compensated at a rate of $81.81 per standard hour.
