About the role
The Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) seeks dynamic, motivated, and diverse candidates for part-time faculty positions to engage and educate students. Successful candidates will collaborate, communicate, and work as professionals with students, staff, faculty, and administrators.
Responsibilities
- Teach a full range of community college, Noncredit Vocation Education course offerings focused on Nonprofit Management.
- Promote growth in students' sense of belonging, confidence as a learner, and work towards personally meaningful goals.
- Develop critical thinking, communication, research, information literacy, and study skills in ways that integrate the student's career and academic interests and apply across general education disciplines.
- Engage in culturally responsive interactions with students, faculty, staff, and community members who span a diverse range of backgrounds.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree; and two years of occupational experience related to the subject of the course taught;
- OR Associate degree; and six years of occupational experience related to the subject of the course taught;
- OR Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college faculty, staff, and students.

Verification of Experience Letters must be on company letterhead stationery indicating: Dates of employment, Position title, State if experience was full or part-time (if part-time, please indicate the weekly percentage or hours worked), Description of related duties performed.
