About the role
We are seeking a Substance Use Disorder Counselor to provide individual and group counseling services, conduct assessments, screenings, referrals, and treatment planning. Responsibilities include delivering case management, coordinating community support services, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and supporting clients in achieving recovery and stability. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and participating in supervision, training, and professional development.
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC credential
- Associate’s degree in a human services or corrections-related field (bachelor’s preferred)
- Knowledge of addiction and recovery principles
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Experience with justice-involved populations is a plus
