About the role
As a Substance Use Disorder Counselor, you will provide individual and group counseling, conduct assessments, screenings, referrals, and develop treatment plans. You will deliver case management, coordinate community support services, and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and community partners, you will support clients in achieving recovery, stability, and personal goals. Participation in clinical supervision, training, and ongoing professional development is essential.
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC credential
- Associate’s degree in human services or related field (bachelor’s preferred)
- Knowledge of addiction, recovery, counseling, and case management
- Experience with justice-involved populations is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
