Activity Assistant/Receptionist

Responsibilities

• Works with Director of Activities to deliver creative and exciting Resident activities meeting individual needs and interests within the community
• Auxiliary to the Director of Activities, assist with orienting all residents to activity programs
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make decisions
• Proven professional with compassion, integrity, and honesty
• Occasionally assist the Business Office Director covering the reception desk as needed
• Graciously greeting community residents, visitors, and family members, addressing the questions or concerns of prospective or current residents and families, and providing support to sales and marketing and the business office
• Foster teamwork with co-workers, showing initiative in overcoming obstacles, helping others beyond the job responsibilities, and having a positive impact on co-workers, residents, and visitors

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year experience required in Senior Assisted Living

Qualifications

Highly motivated, compassionate, and organized individual with strong interpersonal skills.

Skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to multitask, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
