Accounts Receiveable Specialist

Responsibilities

• Verify services entered in health record
• Check for failed activities or failed claims and making any adjustments for the claim to be billed
• Notify management of errors that the program must correct
• Look up authorizations electronically
• Enter authorizations
• Notify programs of authorizations still outstanding
• Approve all claims
• Check Medicaid remits for any denied claims and make whatever corrections necessary
• Check the program aging and investigate any unpaid claim
• Process Medicaid and Medicare 3rd party billing

Qualifications

• A High School diploma
• Two (2) years of work related experience
• Valid Driver's License in good standing
