Accounts Receivable Supervisor
Essential Functions
- Reviews invoices to ensure everything is complete and aligns with contract specifications
- Coaches / trains staff on technical work and soft skills, such as customer service
- Prepares and maintains well-defined reports for use in tracking and analyzing invoices to be billed, accounts receivable aging, deposits, collections, and other AR items
- Supervises activities designed to validate that accounts receivable data flows correctly into all accounting and reporting systems; provides leadership when troubleshooting issues resulting from these activities
- Sets and achieves goals within established timelines
- Buils and maintains strong relationships with others throughout the organization to develop solutions to new situations and to identify or correct problems
- Compiles internal process memos, process mapping, and other documentation related to accounts receivable
Experience/Qualifications
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Required: 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience managing a team
- Knowledge of advanced formulas and pivot tables in Excel
- Ability to set, measure, and consistently achieve goals within established timelines
- Willingness to develop team members for additional responsibility
- Clear communication skills in written and verbal interactions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Regularly completes computer work and sits
- Occasionally walks and stands
- Seldom or never lifts up to 50lbs

Independent Judgement
Develops objectives and general policies and procedures for a specific program or functional area of responsibility within the general scope of established operational goals and plans. Day-to-day work and decisions do not require direction or review by immediate supervisor. End results are reviewed by supervisor.
