About the role

The successful candidate will manage the cash application team, ensuring timely and accurate posting of payments into the A/R system, resolving issues, and maintaining a high standard of quality in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage team of Cash Application Specialists
  • Schedule work shifts to meet business needs
  • Participate in team member hiring, training, coaching, and performance management
  • Ensure team members enter critical data into patient accounts in Bonafide
  • Process and post all payments within established guidelines
  • Research, reconcile, balance, and identify errors
  • Manage cash flow and identify risks related to forecasts
  • Support financial audits
  • Report on cash position, liquidity, and trends
  • Evaluate and refine process flows for efficiency
  • Create reporting and key performance indicators
  • Respond to and support patient, financial, or payor audits

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a health care cash posting environment
  • Minimum of 3 years management experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
