Accounts Receivable Manager

We're looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead our credit, collections, and accounts receivable operations while developing and supporting a talented AR team. What You'll Do As the Accounts Receivable Manager, you'll play a key role in protecting cash flow, reducing credit risk, and supporting the company's continued growth. This is a hands-on leadership position that combines strategic oversight with daily operational involvement. Key Responsibilities Include Leading credit and collections activities to improve cash flow and minimize bad debt exposureEvaluating customer creditworthiness and approving credit limits within company guidelinesManaging escalated collections issues, high-risk accounts, and payment plan negotiationsCoaching, developing, and supporting the Accounts Receivable teamMonitoring account aging, collections performance, and credit risk metricsCollaborating with Sales, Finance, branch teams, and customers to resolve billing and account issuesIdentifying opportunities to improve processes, automate workflows, and enhance efficiencyMaintaining strong customer relationships while enforcing established credit policies What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in commercial credit, collections, or accounts receivablePrevious leadership or management experienceStrong knowledge of credit analysis, collections practices, accounts receivable operations, and risk managementExperience working with ERP systems and accounts receivable automation platformsIntermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel skillsStrong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related fieldNACM Credit Business Associate (CBA) certificationExperience in wholesale distribution, construction-related industries, or multi-location operationsExperience improving or automating AR, invoicing, or collections processesMBA or advanced degree in a related field Why Crescent?
