Accounts Payable Specialist
About the role
RADCO is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support the accounting department. The ideal candidate will have experience processing operation and construction payables and maintaining vendor relationships.
Responsibilities
- Codes items such as invoices, vouchers, expense reports, check requests, etc., with correct codes conforming to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into the financial system.
- Reconciles vendor statements, researches and corrects discrepancies.
- Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders.
- Maintains files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
- Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment due date.
- Develops and maintains a good rapport with internal and external departments.
- Works with Construction Managers to ensure invoices are approved and match construction contracts.
- Communicates and works with Contractors to obtain lien waivers and provide payment statuses.
- Manages accounts payable for subcontractor invoice processing, ensures all applicable lien waivers are submitted, and contracts and insurance requirements are in place prior to scheduling payments.
- Reports to Construction Managers and subcontractors if there are any payment issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience in accounts payable.
- Experience with Yardi is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbally.
- Positive attitude.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some college or technical training preferred.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay
The anticipated (base salary range 24.00 per hour/49,920.00) for this role is $24.00 per hour.
