Role And Responsibilities
- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to processing.
- Process weekly check run.
- Post refunds for all patient and insurance carriers.
- Post Management Amex Cards.
- Note payments.
- Ensure payment of "other drugs" from accounting manager and provide a schedule of payment to the accounting clerk.
- Upload for Positive Pay & submit to Controller.
- Review uncashed checks on bank reconciliation report monthly and investigate.
- Ensure timely month end close of Accounts Payable Department.
- Backfill the Accounts Payables function in the absence of an Accounts Payable Clerk.
- Process 1099's and review annual 1099's reporting.
- Absorb and assist in scanning documents into MS Business Central.
- Absorb and assist in ensuring the timely and accurate filing of all Accounts Payables Documents.
- Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate vendor ledger.
- Research and correct discrepancies.
- Maintain Vendor Contracts.
- Maintain online AP accounts and passwords.
- Review online AP accounts and passwords.
- Create AP close.
- Keep track of all checks.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
Position Qualifications
- Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
