Accounts Payable Specialist

About the role

Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist with legal experience for its Houston, TX office. This role involves performing the firm’s full-cycle accounts payable process and AP-related account reconciliations in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, expense reports, and other accounts payable items
• Perform AP account reconciliations

Requirements

• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and comfort with a variety of accounting software programs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent work experience
• At least three (3) years of experience working as an AP Specialist
• At least one (1) year of experience working in a law firm (preferred)
