Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist

Job Requirements

• Manage the full cycle of accounts payable, including invoice processing, payment execution, vendor reconciliation, and credit card program administration.
• Show strong attention to detail and organizational excellence.
• Communicate effectively with internal partners and external vendors.

Work Experience

• A high school diploma is required.
• An associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Two (2) years of progressive accounts payable or general accounting experience in a high-volume environment are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel, is necessary.
• Experience working in an ERP system is required.
• Familiarity with expense management software is preferred.
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes, including three-way matching, vendor reconciliation, and payment execution, is required.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and general ledger interactions is required.
• Knowledge of federal and state reporting requirements for third-party payments is required.
• Experience supporting a corporate credit card program or similar financial administration is required.
• Experience in a Shared Services or multi-entity accounting environment is preferred.
