Accounting Coordinator, Part Time

As a Part-Time Accounting Coordinator in Portland, OR, you’ll handle day-to-day and month-end accounting tasks, supporting our Finance team with accuracy and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Process customer returns, price adjustments, and refunds for the eCommerce channel in accordance with established procedures.
• Support Accounts Payable activities by posting invoices, reviewing transactions for accuracy, and processing payments in a timely manner.
• Reconcile cash and maintain Accounts Receivable accounts to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
• Post customer payments and apply payments to the corresponding invoices.
• Assist with the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
• Support the Finance team with ad hoc projects and departmental initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years of applicable accounting experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with applications such as Shopify and returns applications.
• Enterprise database experience preferred but not required.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to solve problems with high energy and a positive attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact at all levels of the organization.

Pay

$24.90 - $26.30 per hour
