Accounting Clerk

Join the Hampton Roads Connector Partners JV (HRCP), a collaboration between Flatiron, Dragados USA, and VINCI, on the $3.3BN Design Build project—the largest civil construction contract ever awarded by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). This transformative project spans a 9-mile section of I-64 and includes a new 3.5-mile bridge-tunnel crossing for 8 lanes, replacement of existing marine approach bridges, and the addition of a third lane in each direction. The project will feature twin 45-foot diameter, 1.5-mile tunnels bored by TBM, marking the second-largest TBM tunnel opening in North America.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry for accounts payable vouchers, invoices, bills, and expenses.
• Support vendor and subcontractor inquiries regarding accounts payable.
• Assist with payment status questions and inquiries as needed.
• Assist with check running activities and auditing to meet weekly deliverable deadlines.
• Maintain organized accounts payable records and files.
• Match invoices, purchase orders, and receivers prior to payment distribution.
• Match invoices to checks prior to signing and ensure each check has appropriate support.
• Provide check run processing support.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years’ experience in accounts payable required.
• High attention to detail and strong organization skills.
• Developing analytical and investigation skills.

Pay

Salary range: USD $20.00/Hr. – USD $23.00/Hr.
