Accounting Clerk
About the role
Cottage Health seeks an Accounting Clerk for their CH Finance department responsible for processing accounts payable invoices for payment on a weekly basis, in an accurate and timely manner. Performs all clerical duties associated with vendor payable invoices and statements. Involved in processing, verifying, matching and balancing invoices, purchase orders and receivers.
Responsibilities
- Processes accounts payable invoices for payment on a weekly basis, in an accurate and timely manner.
- Verifies, matches and balances invoices, purchase orders and receivers.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures.
- Ability to operate a ten-key adding machine by touch.
- Accurate typing skills of 30 words per minute.
- Prior experience working with computer systems.

Pay
Pay for non-physician positions is determined based on related years of experience and internal equity. Eligible employees may also receive additional forms of compensation, including shift differentials, on-call pay, incentive pay, and bonus opportunities, where applicable.
Schedule
Manager and above positions may participate in Cottage Health’s annual management incentive program.
