BeOne is seeking a highly motivated, collaborative professional with a passion for fighting cancer to join our team as an Account Manager - Hematology. The territory encompasses East Bay CA: Berkeley, Oakland, Modesto, and Fresno.

About the role

Reporting to the Division Sales Manager, the Account Manager - Hematology will contribute to BeOne’s overall sales objective by performing assigned sales-related activities. This role will provide physicians, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals with products, services, and information to enable safe and effective use of BeOne’s portfolio of products. The ideal candidate will manage the territory and administrative requirements efficiently while ensuring full compliance with drug laws and regulations. The Hematology Account Manager will partner with the Targeted Account Sales team and the Solid Tumor team.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes BeOne’s Hematology products through calls on targeted physicians in the assigned territory to implement sales, marketing, and patient support programs.
  • Trains and educates physician support staff on the proper use and handling of BeOne’s Hematology products.
  • Ensures healthcare professionals have realistic expectations concerning the use of BeOne’s Hematology products.
  • Maintains communication and integrates activities, when appropriate, with BeOne’s Market Access Team.
  • Identifies customer changes and ensures coordinated communication and planning to allocate appropriate resources.
  • Completes all product knowledge coursework, LMS/Compliance Wire assignments, and administrative functions, including reporting call activity and customer information in a timely manner.
  • Assists in identifying and resolving issues and opportunities, communicating proactively to marketing and sales management.
  • Supports compliance with applicable BeOne policies and procedures (e.g., healthcare compliance, adverse event reporting, travel, and expense reporting).

Requirements

  • B.A. / B.S. degree; previous pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales and sales management, with significant Hematology experience strongly preferred. Candidates with adjacent specialty experience (e.g., immunology, rare disease, hospital, infusion, buy-and-bill, or other complex therapeutic areas) will be considered.
  • Self-starting, self-managing, and independent work style.
  • Dedicated to making customer service a priority.
  • Results-oriented with a strategic focus on sales.
  • Experience in specialty sales, with an understanding of reimbursement, distribution, managed care processes, national/corporate accounts, hospital markets, various sites of care, IV medications, injectables, orals, and Medicare Part D.
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
  • Familiarity with CRM software and a proven track record of use.
  • Ability to actively engage in developing new business.
  • Proven track record of resilience in the face of challenges.

Skills

Pay

Salary range: $170,200.00 - $215,200.00 annually. Actual compensation is determined by job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Non-Commercial roles are eligible for the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible for an incentive compensation plan. All employees are eligible for discretionary equity awards and may voluntarily participate in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

Schedule

Must be willing to travel over a relatively large geography, including daily and overnight travel up to 50-75%.
