About the role

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Account Manager to help support a brand client’s NFL partnership, managing the day-to-day programming and activation. This individual will serve as a central point of coordination across the client, league, agency team, and external partners, ensuring all contracted rights, assets, programs, timelines, and deliverables are managed effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as key day-to-day team member helping manage NFL partnership rights, assets, and activation
  • Manage and track all contracted rights, assets, benefits, approvals, and deliverables
  • Maintain the partnership calendar, status reports, and asset trackers
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of partnership programs, campaigns, events, and activations
  • Manage day-to-day communication across the client, NFL, clubs, agency partners, vendors, and internal teams
  • Translate contractual rights into clear activation opportunities and actionable next steps
  • Lead the submission, review, and approval process for creative materials and partnership communications
  • Monitor deadlines, budgets, and outstanding decisions across all workstreams
  • Develop meeting agendas, capture decisions, distribute recaps, and drive follow-up actions
  • Support program logistics, including production, hospitality, talent, content, and on-site activation needs
  • Identify opportunities to maximize the use and value of partnership assets throughout the season
  • Develop client-ready presentations, activation plans, status updates, and program recaps
  • Support measurement and reporting by collecting program results, proof of performance, and key learnings
  • Anticipate account needs, flag potential issues early, and help develop practical solutions
  • Provide on-site support for relevant programs, events, and activations

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in sponsorship marketing, partnership activation, account management, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, sports management, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience managing contracted partnership assets, deliverables, and approval processes
  • Experience working with leagues, teams, sports properties, agencies, or brand partners
  • Strong project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Experience communicating directly with clients and coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Willingness to travel and work select nights or weekends around programs and events

Competitive Qualifications

  • Direct experience working with the NFL, its clubs, or league partners
  • Experience managing a major brand sponsorship from planning through execution
  • Familiarity with NFL rights, intellectual-property guidelines, approvals, and seasonal milestones
  • Experience supporting integrated programs across content, media, social, experiential, hospitality, and retail
  • Experience managing agency partners, production vendors, and event teams
  • Experience developing asset trackers, activation calendars, budgets, and proof-of-performance reports
  • Interest in sports, consumer brands, pets, or lifestyle marketing

  • All contracted assets and deliverables are clearly tracked, communicated, and executed on time
  • The client has a reliable day-to-day partner who understands both the details and the broader business objectives
  • Internal and external stakeholders remain aligned on responsibilities, deadlines, and next steps
  • Meetings are organized, decisions are documented, and follow-ups are consistently closed
  • Programs move efficiently from planning and approvals through execution and reporting
  • Potential risks, delays, or missed opportunities are identified and addressed early
  • Client materials are clear, accurate, polished, and ready for senior-level audiences
  • The account operates with a high level of responsiveness, organization, accountability, and attention to detail

Job Requirements

Essential duties are performed onsite in the New York, NY office with some nights, weekends, and/or travel for client programs and events.

Pay

Salary Range: $67,000 – $92,500
