About the role

Verkada is transforming how organizations protect their people and places with an integrated, privacy-sensitive AI-powered platform. This role will report into a Regional Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Sources and closes new business to consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas
  • Builds an intimate understanding of Verkada products and their place in the industry
  • Manages the full sales cycle: Prospects for new customers, hosts online demos, creates proposals, and closes deals
  • Maintains accurate pipeline management with expert-level forecasting
  • Aggressively exceeds goals consisting of outbound phone calls, emails, online demos, and trials every quarter
  • Acts as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to customers and channel partners
  • Works closely with Channel Partners & Technical Support to ensure smooth launches and fuel future product growth
  • Provides market/client feedback to Verkada’s product/engineering team

Requirements

  • At least 2+ years of sales experience in a quota-carrying capacity
  • Highly effective communication skills, with ability to build rapport, nurture relationships, and strong presentation skills
  • Thrives in a dynamic, competitive, and fast-paced startup environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Experience in Salesforce is a plus
  • Tenacity, drive to learn, and self-motivation

Qualifications

  • You must be independently authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $85,000 - $160,000 USD.

Schedule

This role requires being on-site at our office in Atlanta, GA 5 days a week.
