Account Executive (International Trade Consulting)

About the role
Mohawk Global is seeking a dynamic and experienced sales professional to join our Trade Advisory (MGTA) team as an Account Executive. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a deep understanding of CBP regulations and consulting services, and excellent public speaking skills. This role involves selling trade consulting services, building relationships with key decision-makers, representing the company at industry events, and closing sales to meet revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential clients in need of CBP regulatory compliance solutions
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of leads and opportunities
- Conduct product presentations to showcase the benefits of our compliance solutions
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events
- Collaborate with the MGTA team to create sales material and campaigns
- Negotiate and close sales contracts with clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to identify new product offerings and better serve clients
- Occasionally assist in Trade Compliance related projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, or related field
- 10 years’ experience in a role supporting CBP regulatory compliance
- Proven track record of sales success in the regulatory compliance industry
- Strong understanding of trade regulations, compliance standards, and consulting services
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Self-motivated and driven to meet sales targets
- Willingness to travel for sales meetings, conferences, and events as needed
- U.S. Customs Brokerage License (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
