Responsibilities
- Applies knowledge of the business, industry, and domain expertise to identify, create and close profitable, margin enhancing business opportunities.
- Understands Shorr Packaging’s value proposition and our customers to effectively manage projects and relationships, often through collaboration with a wide array of cross-functional partners.
- Uses a systematic approach to provide clients with multiple alternatives to address their packaging needs as well as highlighting the value of our solutions.
- Works with internal partners to position Shorr Packaging solutions as a strategic advantage to our customers’ long-term needs.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency in addressing customer inquires, securing internal partnership(s) when needed, and closing sales.
- Identifies accounts and opportunities to pursue based on a variety of metrics.
- Works with internal partners to position Shorr Packaging solutions as a strategic advantage to our customers’ long-term needs.
- Perseveres when identifying, accessing, and influencing key decision makers.
Requirements
- Achieve and exceed revenue goals.
- Manage a portfolio of active accounts.
- Develop proposals for potential clients including deliverables, pricing, etc.
- Lead/manage the development of proposals for potential clients including deliverables, pricing, etc.
- Build and maintain consultative partnerships with clients.
- Work with internal partners to position Shorr Packaging solutions as a strategic advantage to our customers’ long-term needs.
- Use strong analytical skills to track sales activity, develop sales plans, understand local market and competitive trends, and complete the analysis of sales deals.
- Prospect, consultative sell, and manage projects.
- Have strong financial acumen.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office solutions including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Pay
The base pay range for this role is $85,000 – $100,000 per year.
