About The Role

The Sales Representative at Comcast plays a vital role in expanding our business footprint by selling Comcast Internet, Data, Video, and Voice services to small and mid-sized businesses. The focus is primarily on advanced communications solutions, including PRI, Hosted PBX, and multi-location opportunities. The role involves creating and delivering engaging face-to-face sales presentations, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of Comcast's latest products and services, and promoting bundled solutions to meet customer needs. The goal is to exceed departmental financial and unit targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

The role requires proactive territory management, lead generation, and collaboration with technical and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-7 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in telecommunications or related fields
  • Extensive experience in consultative selling, prospecting, and account management
  • Strong knowledge of advanced communications solutions such as PRI and Hosted PBX
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and technical knowledge skills
  • Demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and a customer-focused mindset
  • Experience with CRM tools
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets

Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand territory through local business partnerships, organizational affiliations, and brand positioning efforts
  • Maintain accurate sales records and prepare detailed sales and activity reports regularly
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing a positive and professional experience, supporting the overall Comcast brand reputation
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting targeted businesses via cold calling, canvassing, referrals, and partner relationships
  • Sell advanced communications solutions, including PRI, Hosted PBX, and multi-location services, tailored to client needs
  • Conduct consultative assessments to identify areas for communication improvements, enhancing clients' internal and external communication effectiveness
  • Manage a comprehensive business plan and high-activity pipeline to meet and surpass sales quotas
  • Collaborate with technical, customer service, and support teams to ensure end-to-end customer satisfaction and revenue growth
  • Manage a steady flow of qualified prospects and leads to ensure consistent sales performance
  • Stay updated on Comcast's product and service offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape to position solutions effectively
  • Achieve and exceed sales and business quality objectives within assigned territories
  • Adhere to company standards, uphold professionalism, and demonstrate punctuality and consistent attendance
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to team success and organizational goals
