Account Executive
About the role
MCA, a trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking an experienced Account Executive local to the Corpus Christi, Texas area to support our fast-growing Voice (MSS) division. As a Military Friendly Employer, we welcome veterans and prioritize both work and enjoyment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate across the organization to implement strategic plans that drive revenue growth, maximize profitability, and foster long-term customer loyalty.
- Forecast sales trends and develop innovative, result-driven sales strategies.
- Consistently meet and exceed sales targets to ensure the highest levels of performance and success.
- Build strong relationships with new clients while maintaining and strengthening existing partnerships.
- Expand and manage a robust client database within your assigned territory to ensure consistent engagement and retention.
- Follow up on incoming leads with same-day responsiveness to maximize conversion opportunities and accelerate the sales process.
- Stay informed on competitor products and effectively position solutions to outperform them.
Requirements
- 3+ years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience within industries like manufacturing, energy, transportation, education, or healthcare.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of Two-Way Radio, Land Mobile Radio, or critical communications is a plus.
- A consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, service-first mindset.
- The ability to articulate product features and benefits clearly to clients, tailoring solutions to meet their specific needs.
- Strong self-motivation and personal drive, with the ability to work independently and stay focused without direct daily oversight.
- High energy, results-driven individual who owns details and projects and embraces accountability.
Travel Requirements
This is a remote position, but candidates must reside within or be local to the Corpus Christi, TX area. Regular travel within the assigned territory is required to meet with clients, attend events, and build/maintain customer relationships. Candidates must be comfortable managing their schedule and traveling independently.
