Account Executive
Location: Los Angeles, California
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager
About the Role
As an Account Executive (AE), you are responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing customer accounts while identifying opportunities to expand business relationships. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experience, driving account retention, increasing revenue within existing accounts, and partnering closely with Territory Business Managers to support strategic growth. The Account Executive serves as a trusted advisor to customers while collaborating across departments to ensure operational excellence and long-term client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to expand existing business by introducing and educating customers on new products to add to their existing account.
- Present and close new products and solutions to customers.
- Negotiate and renew current service agreements.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly growth objectives.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts by building long-term relationships through proactive communication, strategic account planning, and regular business reviews in collaboration with District Service Manager.
- Escalate customer concerns promptly by coordinating with internal service teams, ensuring effective communication, and delivering timely solutions.
- Collaborate with District Service Managers and Customer Advocates through regular field visits to identify opportunities to strengthen customer partnerships and expand relationships.
- Drive customer retention and growth through introducing new products and extending current customer relationships.
- Complete the 8-week onboarding success track.
- Attend required sales meetings and training.
- Develop analytical reports as requested.
- Record weekly activity in CCS.
- Utilize Power BI dashboards for identifying opportunities for current customer growth.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 1-3 years in sales, account management, or a client-facing role.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally.
- Strong communication, organization, decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Healthcare or service industry experience.
- Proficient in CRM Tools and Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated success growing existing accounts.
- Willingness to travel locally to customer locations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Sales Performance: Customer Revenue Growth measured by AWR - performance evaluated weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
- Sales Performance: Achievement of sales activity requirements.
- Customer Retention: Extend and renew existing customer relationships.
Pay
Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
- Competitive commission with significant earning potential based on performance.
- Car allowance: $550 per month plus a gas card.
Actual compensation may vary based on market conditions, geographic location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
