About the role
We are seeking a Senior Account Director based in Texas to join our leadership team. The Account Director will build long-term relationships with clients at the executive level, driving strategic growth initiatives and managing key client account relationships.
Responsibilities
- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients and present our company to potential/referred clients through meetings, listening to their wishes and concerns.
- Create Account Plans and report on revenue/headcount growth results to the Global Account Manager or Account Directors on a regular basis.
- Conduct market research to identify upselling opportunities and assess customer needs, identify client needs, and prepare and deliver presentations on appropriate services.
- Proactively seek new opportunities through client referrals, networking, and social media.
- Bring new business leads to increase revenue, negotiate, and close deals.
- Collaborate with other internal teams (Staffing, Sales, Business Development) to achieve better results.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in sales executive/client partner/engagement manager roles or equivalent in the IT/Tech Industry.
- Experience in customer relationship management with closing deals and developing long-term relationships with clients.
- Previous experience as a Software Engineer (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another IT-related degree) is a big plus.
- Must be based in Texas, preferably in the Houston area.
- Focused on the following industries: Oil and gas (Energy), or SaaS, is a great asset.
