Responsibilities
- Direct patient care
- Teaching clinical practice of medicine to medical students, residents, and fellows
- Supervision of residents and fellows
- Night and weekend on-call duties
- Rotation with other faculty in the coverage of inpatient hospital services and development of the physician's clinical practice
Requirements
- MD, DO or other equivalent degree
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine by the ABFM or AOBFP
- Current Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of Texas
Preferred
- Inpatient hospital medicine
- Inpatient/outpatient pediatrics and/or other advanced procedural skills, including POCUS experience
