Responsibilities

  • Direct patient care
  • Teaching clinical practice of medicine to medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Supervision of residents and fellows
  • Night and weekend on-call duties
  • Rotation with other faculty in the coverage of inpatient hospital services and development of the physician's clinical practice

Requirements

  • MD, DO or other equivalent degree
  • Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine by the ABFM or AOBFP
  • Current Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of Texas

Preferred

  • Inpatient hospital medicine
  • Inpatient/outpatient pediatrics and/or other advanced procedural skills, including POCUS experience
