About the role
This position offers an opportunity to work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. You will provide evidence-based interventions and support to enhance communication, social skills, and daily living activities.Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Provide direct therapy services to clients in a variety of settings including schools, homes, and community centers.
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Evaluate client progress regularly and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with ASD or similar developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
