ABA Behavior Tech - Full Time

About the role

Merakey is seeking a Behavior Technician to join the team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, providing 1:1 direct services in schools and community settings using evidence‑based treatments such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 direct ABA services in schools and community settings.
• Complete timely ongoing data collection, including parent and staff correspondence and all required documentation.
• Apply individualized treatment plans while maintaining a fun, engaging environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Availability to work during operation hours of 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday‑Friday.
• Preferred 3–6 months experience in the division of behavioral health services.
• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• Completed college coursework in mental health, child development, or a related field.

Pay

$17.00 per hour.

Schedule

Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (availability required 7:30 am – 4:00 pm).
