A&T Technician II - 2nd Shift

About the role

The team in Military Aircraft Group is seeking an A&T Technician II to join their team. Reporting to the Performance Leader, this role involves an onsite, 2nd shift work schedule in East Aurora, New York.

Responsibilities

• Perform different assembly operations on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical valves, actuators, and systems using a variety of electrical and mechanical measuring instruments, assembly tools and cleaning devices.
• Carry out high reliability soldering and crimping operations of wires on complex sub-assemblies, electronic, and mechanical assemblies.
• Apply working knowledge of the products to perform diagnostic rework on units that do not meet test requirements.
• Execute repairs typically run with production units.
• Operate hydraulic stands to perform assembly functions.
• Conduct some testing using defined procedures.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED is preferred, or demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English.
• Demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• At least 3 years related experience in a related technical field.

Qualifications

• Enrollment & Participation in the company’s "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program" is a requirement for this position due to strict Federal Aviation Agency (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.).

Skills

• Understanding and applying verbal, written, and computer work instructions or training in English.
• Performing simple arithmetic operations.
• Working knowledge of the products involved in the role.

Pay

Buffalo, NY: $25.00–$32.00 Hourly Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
