A&T Technician II - 1st Shift

About the role

The team in Military Aircraft Group is seeking an A&T Technician II to join their team. Reporting to the Performance Leader, this position involves an onsite, 1st shift work schedule in East Aurora, New York.

Responsibilities

• Perform different assembly operations on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical valves, actuators, and systems using a variety of electrical and mechanical measuring instruments, assembly tools and cleaning devices.
• Carry out high reliability soldering and crimping operations of wires on complex sub-assemblies, electronic, and mechanical assemblies.
• Apply working knowledge of the products to perform diagnostic rework on units which do not meet test requirements.
• Execute repairs typically run with production units.
• Operate hydraulic stands to perform assembly functions.
• Conduct some testing using defined procedures.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED is preferred, or demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English.
• Demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• At least 3 years related experience in a related technical field.

Qualifications

• Enrollment & Participation in the company’s "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program" is a requirement for this position due to strict Federal Aviation Agency (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.).
