A&T Technician II- 2nd Shift

About the role

The A&T Technician II position within the Military Aircraft Group at Moog is available for a 2nd shift, onsite schedule in East Aurora, New York. Reporting to the Performance Leader, this role requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Perform different assembly operations on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical valves, actuators, and systems using various measuring instruments, tools, and cleaning devices.
• Carry out high-reliability soldering and crimping operations on wires of complex sub-assemblies, electronic, and mechanical assemblies.
• Apply working knowledge of products to perform diagnostic rework on units that fail tests.
• Execute repairs on production units and perform assembly functions on hydraulic stands.
• Conduct necessary testing using defined procedures.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred, otherwise, a demonstrated ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer instructions in English.
• Demonstrated ability to perform simple arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Enrollment and participation in the company's "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program" is mandatory due to the nature of the job.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of related experience in a technical field.

Skills

• Understanding of FAA regulations and safety-sensitive work requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, worksheets, and parts lists.
• Working knowledge of the products and their components.
• High reliability soldering and crimping skills.
• Basic troubleshooting and repair abilities.

Pay

Buffalo, NY: $25.00–$32.00 hourly.
