A&T Technician I - 2nd Shift

About the role

The team in Military Aircraft Group is seeking an Assembly & Test (A&T) Technician I to join their team. The position involves precision assembly and test operations on various hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical components.

Responsibilities

• Use a variety of mechanical measuring equipment like dial indicators, calipers, and micrometers to ensure proper build requirements.
• Perform tests using hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment, fixtures, and tools.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy on assemblies using torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling, and gauging.
• Work from assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, test specifications, and other instructions.
• Diagnose and rework test failures to meet test requirements.
• Clean components to required cleanliness levels.
• May work on repair units similar to those used in production.
• Contribute positively to the teamwork environment regarding productivity, initiative, cooperation, data collection, and attitude.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED is preferred, or demonstrated ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions in English.
• Demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• At least 1 year of related experience in a technical field.

Qualifications

• Enrollment and participation in the company’s "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program" is a requirement for this position due to strict Federal Aviation Agency (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.).

Buffalo, NY: $22.00–$27.00 hourly
